New Anti-UV technological fabrics
The anti-UV sunshade incorporates fabrics specially designed to provide protection unique in the anti-ultraviolet rays market, both UVB and UVA. Its protection rating is 50+, the highest rating a fabric can reach.
Scotchguard
The waterproof protective finish Scotchguard keeps the fabric dry in rain, snow or sleet, without losing its naturalness and breathing capacity. Highly water-resistant, liquids bounce and slide over the fabric. With this waterproof finish, fabrics are easier to look after and last longer. The Scotchguard protector withstands many washings before the quality of its fabric is affected.
Thinsulate
Thinsulate offers a high level of insulation with a very low weight, while at the same time being a breatheable, comfortable and long-lasting material. If you buy other materials of the same thickness as Thinsulate original insulation, you'll see that Thinsulate provides many times more heat.
Coolmax
Coolmax is the original, high-performance component which has helped top athletes to give of their best. Today, the many possibilities it can offer to improve comfort in day-to-day clothing have been discovered. Coolmax allows the body to breathe out to the external surface of the fabric, enabling it evaporate quickly. This heat-regulating effect keeps its users dry and more comfortable. Jané combines Coolmax fabrics with a variety of mesh and net types, in order to aid air circulation and keep the child wrapped up and cool at the same time.
New patents, new shapes, new colours.
The new Jané 2011 collection explodes with colour and details, turning any type of upholstery into a piece that is as well cared for as if it were a limited series. As far as chassis go, it presents a whole new squadron; Unlimit, Cross Reverse. Providing the only classic patents on the market, such as the Pro System or the Matrix baby-carrier (now in light version), among other new patents, the innovative Ball Joint folding system, the automatic locking system, the giro axial handles, the special folding system for Rider, which can reduce the folded size by 30%! And continuing with new shapes like the inverted C chassis. On safety, the great daily challenge and absolute priority, the misuse system is imposed. This is a mechanism which prevents incorrect installation of car seats, such as the Exo or in the Transporter carry-cot, for example. One of the great challenges of all leading producers like Jané is to find a way to offer parents maximum safety, but with supreme ease of use and to create systems that do not permit the car seat to be installed if it is not well anchored: it has been demonstrated that a high percentage of car seats are wrongly fitted. It is fundamental to research ease of use and the way to prevent possible fitting errors without compromising safety in the least. Today Jané presents the results of this constant research. And the new reversible chassis. Why are they so important? While it is true that as children grow they seem more interested in the outside and tend to think that they receive more stimuli when facing the direction of travel, what has been proved in accordance with the recent studies undertaken at Dundee University (Scotland) is the fact that the communication established between babies and parents when they travel facing each other, in reversible position, is fundamental for emotional, social and cognitive development.
Technology and research at society's service.
Jané is making a great social effort to contribute to improving children's conditions of mobility. We dedicate a large part of our resources to research in order to achieve increasingly safe products.We created the Jané Educates programme to make children aware of the importance of using safety belts correctly. We collaborate with the RACC in preparing and publishing many studies on child safety. We collaborate with UNICEF.

We at Jané wished to join the fight against malaria, and we want you all to join in with us, so that we can undertake every direct and immediate action. With each Matrix you buy Jané collaborates with UNICEF in supplying mosquito nets.
Safety
The facilities are being constructed in preparation for internatioanl leadership in the immediate future: new design of the offices and reception area, and robotisation of the warehouse with the clear aim of achieving optimum efficiency in the national and international logistics organisation. The philosophy of innovation and research has materialised in the Jané Crash Test research centre, the only private test laboratory in Spain for the research of child safety. It was equipped according to the ECE Regulations and is prepared for undertaking trials at greater speed, in accordance with the EURO-NCAP trials protocol.
The first Jané pram was created in 1932. The son of Ramón Jané Caúm, Manel Jané Vidal, changed the orientation of the business when his child was born. If you're such a good locksmith, if you have so many ideas for others, demonstrate that you also have them for your child. Encouraged by his father, Manel Jané accepted the challenge and within a few days, little Ramón went outside on wheels, in a pram which Manel Jané felt very proud of. The admiration it caused among neighbours and friends motivated him to construct a pair of folding seats and present them in some of the large stores in Barcelona. A week later, he received his first orders. Jané began producing folding seats for children. Thus our story began with the firm commitment to doing everything as well as possible, as if it were for our own babies.
